For this task I went searching for random materials to use, I then made masks from whatever I found, trying to be creative with what I found. I found metal pieces, carboard, pieces of wood, screws and canvas.
Tearing things apart I first came up with the idea for the metal devil, where I was planning on making a knight Helmet, With the screws as teeth. I then had the nightmarish idea that if I fell I might stab my face, so I made sure they were angled directly outwards. I then added a third eye, symbolic of awakening and some devil horns.
I then went to work on a second mask out of cardboard since the other mask ran into weight related problems due to the metal materials breaking away from each other (having been hot glued together). The wise rooster is therefore an improvement upon the last idea, falling apart less often, being lighter and sporting more color.
