planning work for the book title "Hells Bells" which is a horror novel by the author 'Brian Johnson'.
as you can see I also toyed with the idea of picking '1920 Blues' but decided against it in the end.

took inspiration from modern horror novel covers, especially 80s ones and even read an article about the 'fall of 80s horror novel covers' where modern ones look far too tame and bland. So that inspired me to go all-out and really embrace more overt horror images.

Publisher mark is on the spine and is called 'GLLM' which is named after a college I used to attend in wales.

those are all the variants. My favorite and the option i would put forward is the first one at the top of this selection, the colors just work well without leaning too far into the blues and cyan.
